BookingWe will advise you of availability when you make an enquiry. This does not constitute an offer of accommodation until we have confirmed that a booking has been made for you. To secure any booking, you must provide a deposit relating to the cost of the first night's accommodation by the following methods:
* Credit / Debit card. Unfortunately we are unable to accept American Express. . * BACS transfer payment. * Cheque (payable in British Pounds Sterling, to 'Aynetree Guest House') only if booking is at least 30 days in advance.
Cancellation PolicyAll cancellations must be made
by e-mail or fax. Please note that the definition of 'advance
of your arrival' is midnight on the day before you are due to
arrive. If you cancel your booking 7 days or less of advance of your arrival; or you fail to arrive, then all of the accommodation cost shall be deducted from your credit card. If you cancel your booking over 7 days, but up to 14 days of advance of your arrival; then the first night's accommodation shall be deducted from your credit card. If you cancel your booking over 14 days of advance of your arrival then any money debited from your credit card shall be refunded.
Exception to the above, is bookings for the hogmanay period (this is dates between 28th December and 3rd January)...............
If you cancel your booking 14 days or less of advance of your arrival; or you fail to arrive, then all of the accommodation cost shall be deducted from your credit card. If you cancel your booking over 14 days, but up to 31 days of advance of your arrival; then the first night's accommodation shall be deducted from your credit card. If you cancel your booking over 31 days of advance of your arrival then any money debited from your credit card shall be refunded.
Late cancellation charges also apply to group bookings.
You may check-in to your room from 1400. You may arrive between 1000 and 1400 and leave your luggage, car, register and collect your keys, and once the room has been vacated and cleaned; we will put your luggage in your room. As reception is not open 24 hrs. you must notify us with an approximate arrival time . Out of courtesy, please inform us if you are delayed. We do not normally accept arrivals later than 2000 - but please check with us prior to booking to discuss the matter as we understand on many occasions flight/train arrivals are late at night.
On certain occasions if your room is required before 1400 and has not been used the previous night, you may check-in before 1400 (e.g. wedding). A small charge 'may' apply depending on time needed to use the room and facilities.
Check-Out On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated no later than 1000. Unfortunately we do not have a facility for storage of baggage or for you to leave your car in the car park. However, your car can be parked on the street right beside the house free of charge.
PrivacyTo confirm your booking, we require certain details from you. We will not pass any of these details to any third parties and will keep them secure and shall destroy them 24 hours after you depart.
General
In line with the
Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Bill act, Aynetree Guest
House is a non-smoking establishment throughout. Guests
are welcome to smoke outside the property, where ashtrays are provided. In the
event of a guest(s) breaching the aforementioned policy, the Guesthouse will
levy a charge for laundry and additional cleaning to the Guests final bill. In
the event of the guest's departure, the Guesthouse reserves the right to deduct
the appropriate fee from the credit card number provided at time of booking.
Approx charge £50.00.
We also reserve the right to charge the full
room tariff should we not be able to re-sell the room due to any of the
following: smoking in a room, breakages rendering the room incomplete to re-let,
or specialist room cleaning including carpet cleaning. As per the terms
and conditions of the act, we shall inform the appropriate authority. If keys are taken on your departure from the guesthouse we will deduct £50.00 from your credit/ switch card to cover the cost of replacement keys and inconvenience.
All published rates include all taxes and breakfast.
If you have made reservations for others, please ensure that all parties are aware of the aforementioned conditions. |
